This week flew by!! Which I am glad for, I want the next four weeks to fly! I notice that I forgot to post 14 week update :( School kept me pretty busy, so had Matthew with him working a lot and us only having one car so I had to play taxi... which is not my favorite past-time.

Baby is doing fine, I threw up like five times in the last two weeks... one was from a horrible migraine and I ended up missing the toilet and getting it everywhere! Sorry if it was tmi... Our poor bug (our dog) was worried about me not feeling well, she followed me everywhere to check up on me. She even cuddled with me for a bit. She is the best 70lbs lab dog ever! Ha ha ha.

I keep on checking on the doppler for the baby's heart beat and so far I have found it with no problem!! Though yesterday it gave me a scare. I turn it on, found it right off the bat (sometimes I know where the baby is because there is a "bump" on my lower tummy) and listened to it for a couple mins. Then I wanted to record it so I grabbed my phone went back to the same spot and could not find it!! ahh!!! After ten mins the little jitter bug (our nick name for the baby) moved from my left side to the right... I did not know he/she could move that far that fast.... anyways the baby's heart beat is getting so much louder!! I can hear it very clearly now, at first I had the volume on the doppler up all the way and had trouble hearing it (that was at 11 weeks) now at 15 weeks and some change I can hear the baby's heart beat no problem! I am pretty sure my sister can hear it in the next room too ;)

No update about finding a house :( we want to get out asap because certain people drive us crazy! ( I am pretty sure the animals feel the same). Yesterday we took some baby pictures but it was kinda hard due to the wind and the time of day. I knew no one wanted to be out taking pictures of me at the proper time, around dusk, so we took them mid-day which we battle the sun and the wind. But we got some nice ones. We even manage to get one that looks like we are in Washington :D

So I shall end this blog with a baby bump picture of me...

Your Baby Week 15:

Your baby measures about 3.7 to 4.1 inches (about 9.3 to 10.3cm) from crown to rump and weighs about 1.75 ounces (50g).

Your baby's bones still consist of soft cartilage but they are now beginning to harden and the development of the bones and the marrow continues. Her ears are developing into a more recognizable shape and any hair already on the head and brows will become thicker.

Your baby may already be sucking her thumb.

Her skin is thin and translucent and all her blood vessels can be seen through it.

Her hair continues to grow on her head and her eyebrows. If her hair will be dark, the follicles will start to generate pigment to color her hair.

Your baby is moving more now and is becoming increasingly flexible. She can bend her arms at the elbows and wrists and she can make tiny fists with her hands.

Your Baby Week 14:

Your baby measures about 3.2 to 3.5 inches (8 to 9cm) from crown to rump and weighs about 0.9 ounces (25g). Your baby is now nourished by the placenta.

His face is developing and his cheeks and the bridge of his nose are appearing. His ears are moving from the sides of his neck to higher on his head and his eyes are moving closer together. Your baby's external genitals are now distinct and may be recognized on an ultrasound. Your baby will move away from stimuli near your tummy, such as noise and light.

Your baby's eyebrows have formed and a small amount of hair, called lanugo, has appeared all over his body. Lanugo, which will be shed before birth and replaced with the hairs with which your baby will be born, is thought to have a protective function.

Insulin is present in your baby's pancreas. Some bones may be well outlined. Your baby's thyroid gland, already developed by this week, begins to make hormones.

Baby boys begin to develop the prostate gland at this time and the ovaries of baby girls descend from the abdomen into the pelvis.

I am so glad that the first day of school is down, I only had one class but manage to still get tired :-/ and all I did was sit in a desk and listen to my teacher about what to expect from this class... oh boy. Glad I only signed up for three classes this semester! After that I had to wait in line for forever to get proof I paid for classes then run over to get my student ID which always turns out it does not look nothing like me... I should have made a face ;) Now I am home chilling with my favorite dog.

I have 15 days until my next ob appointment and I think 1 month and one week till our 19 week ultrasound!!! Yay!! I am very excited to find out what we are having and to hear everything looks great.

Now it is time for a nap.
Made it to 2nd trimester! Good-bye to 1st trimester!

Today I am 13 weeks along, its been about 2 months since I knew I was pregnant! Time is sure flying by! I hope it flies by so I can know what we are having!! I have to wait 1 month, 1 week and five days until I find out what we are having! I am so excited! I won't be posting the gender here just in case someone  in real life read this blog ;)

Morning sickness has been tapering off, I had a case of drive heaves a couple of days ago and they showed their ugly face this morning! I think it was easier on me when I puked....

My Ob appointment is in 20 days, I wonder what we will do at it since I won't be getting a ultra sound?? Hrmmmmm.... Maybe  more blood work.... yuck!! I wish I could share some of the poking with Matthew ;) poor guy, I think it is better I get poked.

Other than that nothing has changed... expect the size of m
Your baby is about the size of a peach and is growing rapidly. Crown to rump, your baby measures 2.6 to 3.1 inches (6.5 to 7.8cm) and weighs 0.5 to 0.7 ounces (14 to 20g).

Your baby's legs are longer than her arms and her skin is red and transparent. Her eyelids are fused together and won't open for about four more months. Her arms are long enough to reach her mouth and she may begin to place her thumb in her mouth. Her sucking reflex, however, is not yet developed.

The tissue that will become your baby's bones is being laid out, especially around her head and her arms and legs. Some ribs may be distinguished at this time. The nose and chin are more prominent now.

Your baby will begin to practice breathing in the next few weeks as her chest rises and falls in mock breathing motions. She will also swallow small amounts of amniotic fluid which will be passed as urine.

Your placenta is providing all of your baby's needs for nutrition, oxygen and waste disposal, though the amniotic fluid will become more important later on.

All major components of the body are formed and now must grow and mature. From now on, your baby's development will consist primarily of organ maturity and growth and body refinement.

Apparently I keep posting my baby bump a week behind! Ahhhhh!! I need to work on that.

Anyways, school starts next week and I am super excited to be taking a swimming class. It should be good for me and the baby! Then I am taking two other classes that I am less than excited about. I cannot believe after this semester the baby will soon be here! Yay! Very excited!

We are still looking for a house to rent, It is hard to find one in a good neighborhood and within our price range. I hoping to not put our baby in daycare.... we shall see how well that goes. I really don't want someone else raising our  baby. Plus they are crazy expensive! For a good one that is...

I am looking at all kinds of baby stuff, there is so much out there! I wish I had the list that was right for me so we don't go wasting our's or anyone else's money.

It should be interesting to be a mom at a "young" age. Most of my friends are out partying and living the college life. I don't have anyone my age that is marriage.... and people who I know who has kids are a bit older than me. I hope to find a friend who is my age that has a kido or one on the way.

Well, better get back to cleaning the room that seems to keep on
I think it is more bloat than anything but it is growing! And lucky for me, my weight has stayed the same or decreased. Though I cannot wait to start gaining baby weight!!
About a week ago I bought a doppler!! A device that allows you to listen to your baby's heart beat. I will take a picture of it as soon as I have the time. As soon as I got it I ripped it out of the box and tried it out.... needless to say it took 3 hours to find the baby's heartbeat... but I found it! I was so amazing to hear! His/her's heartbeat was beating about 155 beats per minuet! Amazing! Everyone says it sounds like galloping horses.... I suppose it does in a way. I been having a way easier time finding it. Now I find it in less than a minuet. Yesterday the baby's heart rate was 170!!

So far no more cramping or spotting. I hope that is behind me for a while. My m/s is gone but I had this terrible cold for the past 3 weeks. I am lucky enough that when I tend to be sick my m/s is no where to be found. I broke down last week and took some cough medicine. I really hate taking anything while pregnant. I kept on checking on the heartbeat because I am afraid I will hurt the baby with all of my coughing I've been doing..  I am so happy to be 12 weeks pregnant! Next week starts 2nd trimester!! I hope the 2nd trimester is an easy one because I am going to school for the next four months. I am pretty sure I am going to freak some people out by the way my belly will start to grow. I am sure no one will notice I am pregnant until the end of the semester.

We are currently looking for a house to rent, I cannot wait to get out of the parents house. Living with eight other people ( and one that you don't like at all) can be stressful. I am sure they will be happy when we are gone too, less people and four less animals in the house.

I hope these next seven months go by fast! I cannot wait to meet our little one! I am so thinking this baby is a boy.... we shall see! Our gender ultrasound got pushed back a little bit so about 1 month, 2 weeks and 5 days until we know if it's a boy or a girl! I just hope the baby is healthy and happy!

That's all for now!
Your Baby Week 12:

The end of the twelfth week of pregnancy marks the end of the first trimester. Your baby is now almost 2.5 inches long (6.1cm) when measured from crown to rump, and weighs between 0.3 and 0.5 ounces (9 to 13g).

Your baby's fingers and toes have separated and are getting longer. Your baby can open and close its mouth and drinks amniotic fluid which it passes out as urine. Its head is becoming more rounded, though it is still large in proportion to its body. It has eyelids.

You can now hear your baby's heartbeat with a Doppler Ultrasound device!

Your baby continues to grow rapidly and has doubled in size in the last three weeks alone.

The face is beginning to look more human, and all body structures are present with a few refinements still in progress. Fingernails and toenails begin to develop this week.

Your baby's muscles are sufficiently developed to allow for involuntary movements at this time. The messages which control your baby's movements are sent from the spine, rather than the brain, which is not yet sufficiently developed.
