Late posting this but here are my 21 week baby bump. I found out how fun and difficult it is to take pictures of yourself... by yourself... Well I had mini Singer with me of course ;)

Here are the picture from the Ultrasound on March 2nd 2012. They are only copied on regular paper.

I feel bad someday's because when I am talking to other people about Mini Singer I call the baby she, he, girl, boy.... poor kid gender is all over the place! Yesterday I kept calling baby a she then the day before it was a he.... today it is a mix!! Ha ha ha. You would think I had one of each ;) I have to remind myself at the end of the day what I truly have.

I get so stinkin' excited when I get another baby item. I have a small stash going on right now. I have three cloth diapers. I am trying not to buy too many because I am hoping people will buy me some more at our baby shower that and I might find a good deal on them! Here are the ones I have bought so far....

This one is a fuzziBunz newborn size. I love that there is not a lot of bulk to this diaper and it seems nice and small for those couple of weeks of baby being home. The material on this diaper is super soft! I am sure Mini Singer will love this one!
This is a Best bottom, one size diaper. I love the pattern on this one. It has a snap in system. I don't have a insert just yet because I still have to order them. The nice thing about this one is that it has a rubber inside and all you have to do is wipe it down, put a new insert in it then be on your way. I don't know if this diaper will make the baby sweaty though....
And the last one (so far) is an Incredibum, one size, and I really love the color on this one. It has an snap in insert but unlike the last one, it is all cloth. It came with two inserts... it looks very bulky so when the baby is little I might just have one insert in it during the day and if I use this one at night, I'll put in the two.

So I am super excited to be getting these diapers because I really want to try out cloth diapering. I had a couple of people say it is hard and I cannot do this... but look out people because I am all for cloth diapering!! Plus it is just better for the baby and the environment!

So that is my little spill for now...

Yesterday we had our big ultrasound! It was so cool to see our baby's anatomy! While waiting for the tech, I was trying to get baby to wake up so I could see baby move around... well I think I woke jitter bug up a little too much! S/he was all over the place! Ha ha ha. The first image we see is our baby with it's legs crossed and it's hands behind their head. Jitter bug did not like the tech pushing on my tummy because several times they let out a mad pout! Ha ha ha. Baby was defiantly shy! It kept on hiding from us. They could not say if anything was wrong with the baby... but it look like it had all it's parts! Those ultrasound machines can really show you a lot about your baby! They did not have a printer hooked up to the machine so we shall be getting pictures of our kid in a couple of days which I am excited for!!! Love looking at our baby! Baby's heart rate was 144 and baby is a day a head of their due date! Cool!!! Keep on growing little baby of ours!

We found out the gender but are keeping it to ourselves. We want to have our moment with the baby before we have to share s/he with the world. Another five months and they can know the gender and the name of our baby. But for now.... baby is all ours. Plus we don't like that people are wanting a boy or a girl from us... we don't care at all. We did not want them to be disappointed in the gender and make us feel bad.

Last night Matthew was talking to the baby and the kid lit up like a fire cracker! With kicking and punching. I know our baby will be a happy baby.

Well, I shall update the ultrasound pictures when I get them!

Here are the pictures I showed everyone else ;-)

I cannot believe that time is already flying by so fast! It seems like just yesterday I was dreaming of becoming a mother and here I am five months pregnant! Since last week baby has been kicking up a storm, bad thing is baby usually kicks it up at night... s/he might be a night owl just like his's or her's momma. Baby did kick a little at six this morning, so maybe baby can wake up early like it's daddy.

Matthew is anxious to feel baby move, he is just never around when the little jitter bug is kicking up a storm!

Today is the big scan! I cannot wait to see baby again! I waited for a good 8 weeks to see baby again, even though I really could not see baby at the last scan.... the screen was tilted too weird. Matthew got to see and he said it looks like it was all bunched up. He asked yesterday if our baby will look more babyish today! Ha ha ha. Silly Matthew.

So I am nervous, nervous that something is wrong with the baby, that maybe baby is too small or too big, that I am not doing enough! Ahhh! I am such a worry wart when it comes to our baby. I just want a healthy baby. I keep on praying that God will take care of this little one inside of me. I know he will. I trust in him. Now if the nerves will stay at bay...

I am finally starting to show a little bit. People still say I look super tiny for being 5  months. I guess I will take it as a complement because I do not want to gain weight too quickly or put too much poundage on that I won't be able to take it off after the baby is here. I just now hit my pre-pregnancy weight! Well... still down one pound but close enough! I wonder how much I will weight when I see my Ob doctor in 3 weeks? I'll have to ask him about my weight gain....

My morning sickness seems to be gone!! Yay!! Though last night I was feeling sick but I think it had to do with nervousness and the fact I needed a good night sleep. I worked really hard that day and was T-I-R-E-D-! I use to be able to stay up all night, and during the first trimester I had sleep insomnia! Since three weeks ago I need to be asleep by 10:30! I use to have to read or play something to get me tired... now I out cold as soon as I hit the pillow.

So that is the just for now. I will update with information and pictures later! Remember! We are keeping the gender a secrete ;)

Here are my current baby bump pictures.

Your Baby Week 20Your baby weighs about 9 ounces (260g) and measures about 5.6 to 6.4 inches (14 to 16cm) from crown to rump.

Her skin is thickening and developing multiple layers- the epidermis and the dermis, the deeper layer where it will form fat. Your baby is now also developing a waxy protective coating for her skin called vernix caseosa. The vernix protects your baby's skin which is continuously submersed in amniotic fluid. Vernix, which is particularly thick around the eyebrows is held in place by tiny downy hairs called lanugo.

Your baby can now grip with her fists. Toenails and scalp hair are growing.

At this point, it may be possible to determine the baby's sex by ultrasound, if the baby cooperates, but the ultrasound technician will rarely guarantee the sex based on the ultrasound results as mistakes are sometimes made at an early ultrasound.

You can hear the baby's heartbeat with a Doppler ultrasound device or a stethoscope.

I am starting to look huge!!!

Your Baby Week 19:

Your baby measures about 5.2 to 6 inches (13-15cm) from crown to rump and weighs about 7 ounces (200g).

The buds for the permanent teeth are forming behind those that have already developed for the first teeth.

Your baby's nervous system and brain development continue at a spectacular pace. By this week, your baby's motor neurons, which connect muscle to the brain, have grown into place so that your baby can consciously direct her movements. Millions of neurons inside your baby's brain are growing and forming connections and the nerves in her body are being covered in a fatty substance called myelin.

Your baby's ears are now placed on the sides of her head and her limbs are now in proportion. Your baby's tiny foot is just one inch long, but is in perfect proportion to the rest of her leg.

Your baby can hear your voice and recognize it.
